A guest house with only two suites - feast your eyes on the design from the 19th century and indulge in the luxuries of the 21st century.
Boavista is a typical Porto House, with traditional skylight, opulent interiors and a very special garden.
When arriving into Porto Airport, you simply take a rental car, taxi or metro into the old city of Porto and enjoy a great night's rest before you start your big adventure. Or come to rest up after your safari experience in Western Iberia, have a soak in the big bath tub in your suite to wash off the dirt from wildlife tracking, and enjoy a wonderful vegetarian dinner at the restaurant downstairs.
Boavista Eco Luxury House breathes a sustainable philosophy, where the challenge was to re-use as much as possible during the renovation, and lower the impact of energy consumption. This transformed this house in one of the most ecological houses in an urban context in Portugal
Boavista Eco-Luxury House, located on Boavista Avenue nr 868, is near some important spots like "Casa da Musica" from the architect Rem Koolhaas. You can walk to the city center and it this is an excellent way not only to explore Porto's old center, but also the rest of the city in about 15 to 20 minutes. If you prefer, you can also take the metro with the "Casa da Música" metro station at a 5 minute walk.
All the space was designed by the owners, Victor Rodrigues and Eduarda Castro.
Victor Rodrigues is the restaurant director and Chef. He has been a vegetarian for 25 years and the restaurant is a dream from the times when he was a Yoga instructor.
The project was born when he met Eduarda, an architect. Together they studied the best way to conceive their "food and space" project for about 8 years, working to find the most beautiful and sustainable ways of living.
"Take experience seriously."
