Photography by boat and land!

Explore one of the highest breeding densities of white-tailed eagles in continental Europe, the Oder Delta. The area has diverse wildlife and many attractions within the area, including the spectacular attraction of rutting red deer in the near by meadows and forests.

Enjoy an early breakfast before boarding a boat from the fisherman's harbor and begin your bird watching trip. Scanning the coast line and tree tops on the lookout for white-tailed eagle. During the boat trip it is possible that the white-tailed eagle will hunt fish closer than fifty meters from the boat - a great photographic opportunity as they glide over the waters edge and compete against other birdlife.

Afternoons could be spent in a mobile hide or wearing a special camouflage system looking for the best place to watch red deer with a local skilled guide.

The Oder Delta has a very high diversity of different habitats, naturally flowing rivers, marshes, vast reed beds, alluvial forest, oak and pine forests, meadows, bogs, coastal dunes and much more.

The variation of landscapes creates a high number of different mammals such as wolf, moose, wild boar, red and roe deer, beaver and otter. The region also serves as a very important stop-over for migrating water birds using the East Atlantic Flyway.

During these days you will discover the unique flora and fauna of the region and will have excellent opportunities for nature photography.
