A two-day getaway to disconnect from daily life and immerse yourself in simple but comfortable outdoor living.

An incredible 2 night getaway to discconect and experience nature from one of Cabiner's sustainably placed cabins. After a short walk through the beautiful Zwolse Bos, you arrive at your cabin. Furnished with the essentials to completely unwind in an idyllic spot, with only the rustle of the trees as a distraction. 

Encounter wild boars and red deer and maybe even a foxes while on an excursion with an expert guide around the forest of Hoog Buurlo. The songs of birds will be the soundtrack to your out of the grid adventure.

Prepare tasty meals with your locally sourced sustainable food package. Cozy up around the wood burning oven in the evenings and ejoy the serenity of being away from everything. 


 Disconnect and discover


Day 1 After 15:00 your cabin is at your disposal. There are 3 cabins in the terrain, situated in a clearing in the middle of the Zwolse Bos. From here, the Veluwe lies at your feet.  You are a guest in an area where red deer and boars feel at home.  Even the wolf sometimes walks through the area. You will receive information about access to the cabin by e-mail 5 days before departure. To reach your cabin you will have to hike 1 to 3 kms depending on your point of access.

At arrival you will pick up your local food package for the next two days with includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Settle into your cabin, make a fire in your wood burning stove and enjoy the surroundings and quietness of the forest before cooking your dinner in your stove.

Day 2 : Wake up to the sounds of nature and birds singing. Breakfast with local products is included in your food package.Today you will discover the area of Hoog Buurlo and learn about its ecology and inhabitats from expert guide with Sebastiaan. A picnic lunch is included in you package. After discovering the area for the day you are back for another delicious local meal to be cooked in your wood burning stove. Overnight in the cabin.

Day 3: Say goodbye to your cozy cabin. Breakfast with local products and departure before 11.00.

  • How to get there:  If you come by public transport, take bus 203 from Zwolle station towards Apeldoorn and get off at the Nachtegaalweg stop. From here it is a 20-minute walk to the starting point of the hike, Parking Veluwe Pompstation. You can also reach the trailhead by car and reach 2 different parking spots from which you will have to walk 1 or 3 km.

The price includes: Two nights in the sustainably placed cabins from Cabiner including cookware and other inventory, two breakfast packages, two dinner packages and two lunch packages. One guided walk through the Veluwe and Zwollse Bos with expert nature guide Sebastiaan.

The price does not include: Transport to and from the area. Internal transfers. Anything not mentioned. 

Packing list: Sleeping bag, Fitted sheet (160 cm) and pillowcase, Towels, tea towel and dishcloth, Flashlight, Powerbank, Mosquito repellent (from May to September), Hiking boots, Backpack (at least 30L), Raincoat, Extra Food or snacks, Drinking water. The water in Cabiner is filtered groundwater that is 99% purified. We recommend that all visitors bring at least 1 litre of drinking water with them. For toddlers and babies, or if you are pregnant, we recommend using the drinking water brought along.
