The Netherlands
Microadventure in the Veluwe

Stroll through the Veluwe, the largest nature reserve in the Netherlands, for 24 hours. Wander through beautiful forests and vast moors and meet deer and pigs. Make a simple bivouac along an open field and share experiences under the starry sky. A unique experience in Dutch nature.

Have you always wanted to roam through Dutch nature? Far from the Dutch beaten track we find our own way across the southern part of the Veluwe National Park. You will go on a discovery tour with a small group of no more than six people.

Encounter wild boars and red deer and maybe even a hunting fox. The twittering of birds will accompany us all day long. At the end of the afternoon we make a simple bivouac along the edge of an open plain.

We prepare a nutritious supper on a woodstove and, under the stars, we share our experiences and the privilege of enjoying nature in this way. When night has long fallen, we crawl into our warm sleeping bags.

Experience Dutch nature like never before

Day 1 | Reception and walk through nature. We gather around noon near Ede, on the edge of the Veluwe. After packing our backpacks, we walk straight into the forest where we will not see many people. We enjoy lunch in a quiet place.

We stroll through vast fields and through dense forests. At the end of the afternoon we prepare our bivouac and prepare dinner on a traditional woodstove. When we are tired of staring at the stars, we crawl into our sleeping bag.

Day 2 | Enjoying outdoor activities. After breakfast we pack all our stuff back into the backpacks and walk back into the field. Nature around us is still fresh, so early in the morning. And after a few hours of wandering we are back at the starting point around noon. With a head full of memories, we return home.
